A hearty welcome to my teen bedroom! Or at least, a digital reconstruction of it.
You are now in the quiet suburb of Teton Estates in West Jordan, Utah,1998-2004. My older sister had finally moved into one of the other bedrooms (that was vacated by an older sibling that had moved out) and I finally had my own space to fill with Buffy the Vampire Slayer paraphernalia and stuffed animals.
I created this interactive webpage to serve as an encyclopedia of the experiences, objects, and people that were a part of growing up as a y2k teenager in Mormonism. The digital bedroom is also an archive of the church programs and experiences that Mormon Millenials grew up on that are now being quietly erased. My teen bedroom is deeply personal—not meant to be all-encompassing—and will continue to grow as artifacts and memories surface.
